Community Medical OutreachHCVI introduced the Community Medical Outreach Program in April of 2016. Our goal is to engage Cambodian Health Care Providers, particularly those in their training, in patient care projects serving some of Cambodia's more needy communities. In addition, to filling a void in health care, it is our hope to foster a sense of volunteerism.

The first project involves providing toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as dental hygiene education to children in public primary school in several disadvantaged communities in Phnom Penh and surrounding provinces. HCVI uses a Google Site to organize and drive the project. A number of materials have been developed to support the educational component of the project, including posters, a coloring book, and a playful cartoon video. These can be found on the Resources page of the Google Site, where more detailed information about the program is also provided.
